Strolling Trough Rome

Thanks to Photogrammetry, travel photography is no longer limited to a simple photo. One can literally capture the entire 3D environment. Last autumn my wife and I spent a week in Italy, and I was lucky enough to capture a couple 3D scans. One of them was simply an old building on a narrow street in Rome. The scene was rich with small details-real history! After I posted it on Facebook, I got a message from Tristan Bethe, who asked to use the scan as a background for his model. In just a few days he sent me the link to his website – it was a real “wow” moment to see my scan in the new scene.
